	Small Metal Detector Wand The Gold Centry GC-1002 Small Metal Detector Wand is a small, compact handheld security wand with decent sensitivity and a signal strength indicator. It has audio/visual and vibrating alerts. It can detect large screws from a few centimetres away as well as larger masses from much further.
	Signal Strength Indicator This metal detector wand has an LED strip along the outer face that will light up when there has been a successful detection, it will light up. How far along the strip the LEDs light up depends on the size/distance of the mass of metal. With practice, this allows users to filter out smaller objects like coins and screens or conversely larger objects if they are searching for small items.
	Decent Sensitivity Level White not as sensitive as a Garrett, the Gold Centry GC-1002 Small Metal Detector Wand has a pretty decently high sensitivity. While it will not pick up sim cards, it can detect screws and large nails at very close range. It has no problems with larger objects such as knives, screw drivers and guns.
	Reasonably Robust Design The Gold Centry GC-1002 Small Metal Detector Wand is reasonably well made, and while not as robust as the more expensive models, it does seem better than many of the lower cost Chinese metal detectors that are available.
	Compact & Easy to Use This security wand measures 29.5cm in total length with a 14.4cm by 7cm detection area. While this is smaller than more other metal detectors, it makes the GC-1002 much easier to move around, store and transport. It is also single button operation with no calibration required.
	Audio, Visual & Vibration Alerts The Gold Centry GC-1002 Small Metal Detector Wand has all three main types of notifications that a successful detection has occurred. You can choose between audio and vibrating options for more discreet searches. The signal strength indicator will always light up when something is detected.
